Hamsters can get very bored very quickly. It is very important they have lots of enrichment in their homes to keep them entertained.
You need to be careful what you buy though. Even though it might say for hamsters, you need to know if it is for a Syrian or a dwarf hamster. As you may already know, Syrian hamsters are much bigger than dwarf hamsters, and male Syrian hamsters may have a larger bottom half than a female. With this in mind, when you are collating enrichment for your hamster, make sure you are confident they will fit through (I've made this misjudgment a few times).
Another thing to look out for is if the material is safe for hamsters. Some commercialised boredom breakers for hamsters are unfortunately unsafe for your furry loved one. Keep your eyes posted on some boredom breaker suggestions.
